John Fogarty sings and plays guitar with full musical backing of  Bass, Keyboards and Drums.

For over 30 years he has played locally from Clubs, Pubs, Bars, Cafes, to Weddings, Private Functions and good old fashioned    'sing-a-longs'. John's music suits every mood.

He specialises in easy listening, sing-a-long, 'rock & roll' dance music, with the 50's & 60's Classics a main specialty of his repertoire.

Blues and Jazz coupled with Gospel are his 'special' tunes and songs for memorable moments.    The Banjo is his instrument for irish tunes and songs.

John's over 30 years experience has seen him climb to the 'top of the charts' in New Zealand and hold a continued enjoyment of writing and recording original music from his local hometown Dunedin Studio.

John also plays Tenor Saxaphone, including this popular instrument as easy listening background sound where the need or request arises.

2010-Now John is the new owner of the oldest hotel pub in Dunedin City, The Empire (1858) situated on Princes Street, Dunedin, in the Exchange.

On 1st March 2010, he opened the doors to the NEW Irish Blarney Bar on ground level, that he created, after renovating and restoring alot of water damages and old repairs. It's authentic charm is appeasing to those who love the Celtic flavour of Irish heritage.

Once you enter the Blues Bar you will be drawn to the Castle Room 'Chapel' where there features the only two Castles of Dunedin and in all of New Zealand; The Cargills Castle, (1872), located above the cliffs of St Clair; at present a romantic mystic illusion and ruin (with future plans for it to be restored to its former glory) and The Larnach Castle (1876), tranquilly set along the rolling highcliffs of the Dunedin Peninsular; the famous and active business, tourist must to vsit and see when in Dunedin.
